Guanajuato is one of my favourite places I’ve been to in Mexico. We spent a bit of time in Leon after the balloon festival and then took the bus to Guanajuato city. As soon as we got there we walked from our hotel to the mummy museum which was super spooky! The town is very hilly so it was a long walk and we just barely made it before closing. The mummies are really interesting to see, but pretty creepy. Beware!! 😉
The next morning we spent some time wandering around the city. We went through the underground tunnels of the city, to the market, and to a little Parisian cafe for breakfast. I loved just walking around and seeing the city covered in its colourful houses. This is a place I would love to come back to some day!
