(Literally yelling Baywatch while running slow-mo down the beach)

This weekend we took a quick trip out to Manzanillo with my host family. We spent the weekend relaxing by the beach, getting massages, and drinking piña coladas. The waves at this beach are massive and I had a lot of fun practicing my Baywatch moves while running away from them.

In Guadalajara it isn’t all that humid, so even when it’s hot it’s pretty bearable. In Manzanillo it is humid as heck. As soon as you step out from your air conditioned apartment it hits you like a sweaty slap in the face. The pool was a lifesaver in the heat though, especially with the bar right in the middle of it.

We’re back in Guadalajara now and are heading to a baseball game tomorrow night. I’m stoked for the game, and really hoping I can get some hotdogs and popcorn! I’ll be missing my Oilers tomorrow night though, but will be thinking about them the whole time I’m watching baseball!
