During the October break we went to the Highland Park Distillery in Orkney. We started off the tour with a quick film and a sample of whiskey. It was chilly around the distillery so this was helpful in warming us up! We were taken around the grounds where we saw the process of how the whiskey is made which was really neat to see. The tour ended the same way it began – with another sample!

It was a lot of fun being at the distillery and a nice change of pace from all of our historical activities around the island!
