The Black Sand Beach is such a unique place. The sand is sweet and all of the rocks that shoot out of the water are so cool to see. We picked the windiest day to go and there were already a lot of people there in the morning, but it was still such an amazing place to visit.

When we left the beach we pulled over into this field to take some pictures of the purple flowers. We drove through one patch on a different day where there were yellow and purple flowers together, but it was really rainy that day so we didn’t get a chance to see them up close. These flowers are all over the place in Iceland and are so much cooler than the dandelions that cover everything at home.
