I know it’s still summer, but I am definitely feeling fall this week! Most of the trees are still green, but a few leaves have fallen to the ground now and I’m excited to see what fall looks like in Inverness. 🙂

This weekend Brooke and I caught the end of the Blas music festival here in town, and watched the band Skipinnish play. They’re a Scottish folk band and we had the most fun time singing and dancing along with them. We’ve been listening to their song Walking On The Waves on repeat since we saw them.

After the festival, Brooke and I went for hot chocolate and then over to the Cathedral. I think the park around the church is the only place where leaves have fallen so it looks really pretty. It started to rain a bit while we were there so we walked back and discovered our new favourite store: Pound Land. You can buy £1 DVDs there so we’ll be sat here watching movies for the rest of our lives probably.

I’m really hoping to find some more live music to see around town. There’s a pub close by that always has live music so we’ll have to check out there to see what’s good. Looking forward now to next weekend so we can keep on exploring!
