A few days ago Frances and I drove out to Jökulsárlón to see these ice bergs. It was cold and windy, but so worth it to see. The lagoon is beautiful! We went into the little info place that’s right beside the lagoon to have soup, which was a big help on a cold day. There were boat tours that you could do as well, but I don’t think our raincoats would have kept us warm enough for that! Jökulsárlón is one of the coolest places I’ve been to in Iceland and I would love to come back to it in the winter when the northern lights are out.
